Yamaguchi_go
This is the steam train excursion railroad that is located in the Yamguchi Prefecture of Japan. It is about 2.5 hours from Hiroshima on the southern end of the island of Honshu. The railroad runs from Yamaguchi to Tsuwano on a 2 hour run over a mountain pass. There are two coal fired locos that are beautifully maintained and operate every weekend during the spring and summer months. I took all these photos in August of 2005 with a Canon S50 digital.
